Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Assistant to the Managing Director located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The role involves providing administrative support to the Managing Director, managing their schedule, arranging travel and accommodation, preparing reports, managing budgets, and ensuring that all correspondence is dealt with promptly and efficiently. The Executive Assistant to the Managing Director will also be responsible for organizing and coordinating meetings and events, liaising with other members of staff on behalf of the Managing Director, and ensuring the smooth running of the office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent computer and software skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Experience in the Engineering, Manufacturing, or Infrastructure development industry is a plus
  • Fluency in English
