Role Purpose:

The Territory Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales within their assigned route plans. He/she reports to the Regional Sales Manager and plays a pivotal role in achieving sales targets and expanding the customer base within the assigned route plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans and strategies for the assigned territory to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and prospect new customers while maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing ones.
  • Conduct regular visits to clients, retailers, and distributors to promote products and gather market insights.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement local promotional activities and initiatives.
  • Provide product training and support to retailers and distributors within the territory.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends, reporting relevant information to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates on territory performance.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure proper merchandising and stock availability at retail outlets.
  • Work closely with the sales support team to process orders and handle logistics and delivery.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent. A Diploma in business administration, marketing, or a related field will be a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets within a designated territory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in using sales CRM software and MS Office suite.
