About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated individual who holds at least KCSE Certificate and possesses basic computer skills. Additionally, a certificate or diploma in Sales, Marketing, and/or Business Administration is a requirement. Any prior experience or familiarity with social marketing, community development, WASH, public health, or the solar energy business would be a valuable asset.
You will be responsible for;
Generating leads and re-engaging with past customers on an ongoing basis.
Striving not only to meet but consistently exceed our sales targets.
Continuously cultivating and maintaining excellent relationships with customers, stakeholders, partners, and WeTu.
Continually gathering valuable customer feedback and proactively following up on the implementation of necessary actions.
Ongoing creation and management of a customer database to consistently elevate our customer service standards.
Ensuring the timely preparation of sales reports and submission of the same to the management team. Assuming shared responsibility for the routine maintenance of hubs to consistently uphold hygiene standards. Ensuring that our fishing lamps remain consistently charged and ready for daily delivery to local fishermen. Providing continuous support for the marketing efforts of WeTu products within your designated territory. Maintaining the ongoing management and upkeep of stocks within the hubs.
Handling the opening and closing procedures of WeTu hubs as required during operational hours.
Who you are:
• You’re an honest and dedicated person who can work well with little supervision.
You hold a form 4 certificate and or a technical diploma/certificate in the relevant fields.
You have experience working in rural/peri-urban setting and feel confident working with boda-boda operators, local fishermen, and other local user groups.
You’re open to working in any of our hub locations in Kisumu, Homa-bay, Siaya, and Migori counties.
You are very organized, with good time management
You possess good negotiation skills
You possess excellent interpersonal, communication and persuasion skills
You know your way around basic computer programs like MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
