Our client, a distinguished player in the direct-to-consumer (D2C) space, manages a portfolio of Shopify brands. As they continue to pioneer their market, they seek a Sales Operations Associate to enhance and refine their sales operations, ensuring seamless synergy between sales teams, wholesale customers, and internal systems.

Position Overview:

As a Sales Operations Associate, you’ll be the backbone of our client’s sales operations. Your role will encompass everything from order administration to system management as the key player, ensuring smooth transitions and interactions throughout the sales journey.

Working Hours:

9 a.m. – 5 p.m. EST. There’s a degree of flexibility allowing you to adjust your start and end times occasionally, based on your discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Administration:
    • Take charge of manual wholesale orders, apart from extensive core orders.
    • Be the go-to for wholesale customer service.
    • Proactively liaise with the sales team on order-related challenges like stock shortages or shipping lags.
    • Handle replacement order logistics and supervise wholesale sample dispatches.
    • Keep tabs on, report, and escalate any fulfillment discrepancies.
  • Channel Management:
    • Steer the operations on the Faire and Candid channels, both from a customer and operational standpoint.
    • Ensure a smooth order processing journey, which includes validating addresses and marking orders as paid.
  • System Administration (OMS):
    • Drive the setup for new SKUs and refresh inventory data.
    • Oversee product listings, including cost updates.
    • Handle back ordered SKUs on platforms like eFactory and CartRover.
    • Regularly clean up aging orders in Skubana and engage in general Shopify maintenance.
    • Organize logistics for trade exhibitions and manage direct factory shipments.

Growth Path: The role may evolve to accommodate the management of more intricate partners requiring intricate fulfillment processes.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in sales operations, especially within a D2C and Shopify milieu.
  • Proficiency in order management systems; familiarity with Skubana is an added advantage.
  • A meticulous approach with strong organizational prowess.
  • Stellar communication skills.
  • An ability to multitask and flourish in dynamic settings.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Knowledge about SKU creation and UPC numbers.
