ROLEThe Intern Will

  • Provide direct implementation support for CommCare and PowerBi technologies at field level offices.
  • Provide tier one support for field staff using data collection tools.
  • Build project-based staff capacity on data collection suite of tools which include Commcare and PowerBi.
  • Ensure Nawiri staff adhere to agency wide data protection protocols when collecting and disseminating information.
  • Provide technical and troubleshooting support to project-based staff utilizing ICT4D technologies.

Required LanguagesFluency in oral and written English.   • Bachelor of Science in ICT or related field

Working Knowledge

  • Project Management knowledge/ Certification
  • 3-24 months’ work experience (internships, volunteering, or paid work) in ICT-based knowledge and information management systems.
  • Willing to be based in field offices.
  • Excels in collaborative, multicultural environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and research skills
  • Agile, proactive, results-oriented
  • Demonstrated commitment to respect, equity, diversity and inclusion including gender equality.

Emerging technology

  • Knowledge of Data collection tools: i.e. Iformbuilder or Commcare,
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Excel, ArcGIS, PowerBi, Zoho,
  • Understanding of artificial intelligence, application of IOT and machine learning technologies to solve problems.

Database

  • Understanding of SQL and general relational database management technologies, Certification preferred.
  • Good understanding of data modeling.

Software Methodologies/Certifications

  • ITIL Foundation Certification desired.
  • Understanding of software development concept and methodologies.
