The Internship Calendar
To help you plan your summer effectively, here’s a breakdown of the key dates:
- Onboarding Week: May 28 – 31
- Rotation 1: June 3 – June 21
- Rotation 2: June 24 – July 12

- Capstone Presentation: August 5

A Financially Rewarding Experience
We understand the importance of recognizing your contribution. As a Treasury Summer Intern, you will be compensated between $20.40 (net – for non-US Citizens) and $24.60 (gross – for US Citizens) per hour for a total of 400 hours. We expect our interns to be fully committed, working in person, and present in our Washington, DC office for the entire internship period, from May 28 to August 5. Our HR policies may evolve, but we anticipate interns will be required to spend at least four days a week in the office. To ensure you have the tools you need, we provide each intern with a World Bank laptop, and if necessary, we sponsor the appropriate visa for international interns to work in the United States.
