Summary:

The Digital Media Intern will assist the Marketing/Communications team in creating and implementing digital media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engage target audiences. This role will involve a combination of content creation, social media management, analytics tracking, and staying up-to-date with emerging digital trends. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced digital marketing environment and contribute to real-world campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation:
    • Assist in creating compelling and engaging multimedia content for various digital platforms, including social media, website, blog, email campaigns, and more.
    • Collaborate with the team to develop graphics, videos, infographics, and other visual elements to support marketing initiatives.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Schedule and publish content across relevant social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) using scheduling tools.
    • Monitor social media channels for engagement, respond to comments, and engage with the audience.
  • Digital Advertising:
    • Support in the planning and execution of digital advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, social media ads, and other paid media channels.
    • Assist in tracking and analyzing ad performance to optimize campaigns for better ROI.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) using analytics tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and other reporting platforms.
    • Create regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts and provide insights for improvements.
  • Market Research:
    • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging technologies to inform digital marketing strategies.
  • SEO and Website Optimization:
    • Collaborate with the team to optimize website content for search engines and user experience.
    • Assist in implementing SEO best practices and analyze website performance metrics.
  • Email Marketing:
    • Support in creating and executing email marketing campaigns, including drafting compelling copy, designing templates, and segmenting email lists.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in using digital media tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, social media scheduling tools, email marketing platforms).
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, social media marketing, and content marketing.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

1.            Graphic Design:

•             Assist in creating visually appealing and on-brand graphics for various projects, including but not limited to, social media posts, website assets, presentations, marketing materials, and print collateral.

•             Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm, conceptualize, and develop creative solutions that meet project objectives and deadlines.

2.            Software Proficiency:

•             Utilize industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.) to create and edit graphics, illustrations, and layouts.

3.            Concept Development:

•             Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for visual content that align with project goals and target audience.

4.            Typography and Layout:

•             Ensure that typography, layout, and composition are aesthetically pleasing and consistent with brand guidelines.

5.            Feedback Integration:

•             Actively engage with feedback from team members and clients to refine designs and deliver high-quality work.
