Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Executive located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Human Resources Executive will be responsible for day-to-day HR management and operations, employee relations, and implementing HR policies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.

  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Candidates sourcing, screening, interviewing and conducting background checks to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
  • Lead new employee on boarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a timely and fair manner.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes, provide constructive feedback, and assist in developing performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Support managers in setting goals, objectives, and development plans for their teams.
  • Identify training needs and organize training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Work closely with managers to develop career progression paths for employees and provide guidance on skill development.
  • Managing compensation and benefits programs
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities,
  • events, and recognition programs.
  • Monitor employee satisfaction and propose improvements based on feedback and surveys.
  • Compile and analyze HR metrics to provide insights and recommendations for organizational improvements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and reports.
  • Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry trends

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Diploma in HR and/or CHRP-K

Qualifications

  • Experience in HR management, including employee relations and HR operations
  • Detailed knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated high level of integrity and ethics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Master’s Degree in related field is a plus
