Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Executive located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Human Resources Executive will be responsible for day-to-day HR management and operations, employee relations, and implementing HR policies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Candidates sourcing, screening, interviewing and conducting background checks to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
- Lead new employee on boarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a timely and fair manner.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes, provide constructive feedback, and assist in developing performance improvement plans as needed.
- Support managers in setting goals, objectives, and development plans for their teams.
- Identify training needs and organize training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Work closely with managers to develop career progression paths for employees and provide guidance on skill development.
- Managing compensation and benefits programs
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities,
- events, and recognition programs.
- Monitor employee satisfaction and propose improvements based on feedback and surveys.
- Compile and analyze HR metrics to provide insights and recommendations for organizational improvements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and reports.
- Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry trends
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Diploma in HR and/or CHRP-K
Qualifications
- Experience in HR management, including employee relations and HR operations
- Detailed knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated high level of integrity and ethics
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
- Master’s Degree in related field is a plus
