Job Purpose
Are you a proactive and strategic thinker with a passion for optimizing operational efficiency? We are seeking a highly motivated Business Operations Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in streamlining and managing tactical tasks across various departments, ensuring that operational challenges are resolved promptly.
Key Accountabilities
- Tactical Problem Solving: Identify, assess, and resolve day-to-day tactical operational challenges in real-time, collaborating with departmental teams to implement effective solutions.
- Delegation and Task Management: Identify, prioritize, and delegate tactical tasks from multiple departments, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with company goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication across departments to facilitate smooth task handovers and achieve operational excellence.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance productivity and efficiency in handling daily challenges.
- Team Empowerment: Empower and guide team members responsible for delegated tasks, providing support, training, and feedback to tackle operational issues effectively.
- Reporting and Analytics: Implement reporting mechanisms to track progress on delegated tasks and provide regular updates to leadership, highlighting successful resolutions of operational challenges.
- Strategic Support: Assist the COO in strategic decision-making by managing the tactical aspects of the organization and ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Fluency in Hindi is an added advantage.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Kenya
Relevant Work Experience
- 3 years of experience in operations, project management, or a related role with a strong track record of solving operational challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on day-to-day operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
