Responsibilities and Duties
- Selling to target the markets.
- Identifing business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
- Selling products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
- Calling customers to get orders.
- Maintaining effective communication with existing customers.
- Maintaining good relationships with existing customers.
- Converting prospective customers to regular customers.
- Establishing and maintaining rapport with new customers.
- Training customers on how to use products.
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Providing solutions to customers’ challenges with company products.
- Preparing and filing sales reports.
- Following-up payments for products delivered.
- Maintaining a customer database.
- Keeping abreast with what is happening in the industry.
- Can create good rapport with contractors and companies in real estate industry
Qualifications
- Diploma in sales and marketing or its equivalent.
- Worked for at least 1 year selling hardware products and wooden boards or in a related industry.
- Selling skills
- A good communicator
- A strong self-drive
- Draft detailed sales reports
- Able to interact well with people
- Work with minimum supervision
- Negotiate with customers on prices of products
- Communicate clearly the benefits of company products
- Good interpersonal skills and the convincing power
- Good time management in a relatively fast-paced environment
- Ability to convince prospective customers to switch to company products
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
