Flexi Personnel is a leading HR Consultancy firm in Kenya, and we are currently looking for a Technical Recruitment Intern to join our recruitment team.
JOB PURPOSE
- Sourcing, screening, and shortlisting of candidates in the technical environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical job requirements and create detailed job adverts from the JD.
- Source and identify potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks like LinkedIn, Github, Behance, and referrals.
- Build a strong database of potential Tech candidates for future recruitment needs.
- Screen resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess candidates’ technical skills and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and conduct technical interviews with subject matter experts.
- Manage candidate relationships, providing a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Conduct reference checks and background verifications for selected candidates.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics to monitor the effectiveness of the recruitment process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in tech recruitment.
- Carry out administrative roles on any project related management.
- Assisting the recruitment team in gathering market salaries and benefits data.
- Deliver high quality customer service by adequately handling client requests through responsiveness, follow-up, and escalation.
- Any other duties as assigned by the HR Operations Director.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND TRAITS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), Business Information Technology (BBIT) or a related field.
- MUST HAVE GRADUATED NOT EARLIER THAN 2022.
- Minimum of a B plain in K.C.S.E
- Familiarity with various tech roles, skills, and technologies.
- Passion to excel as a technical recruiter.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software is a plus.
