About Absa Kenya Graduate Trainee Programme 2023-24

This is an 18-month fixed term contract. The successful graduates will be exposed to a variety of teams to give them a comprehensive understanding of the business of banking and the divergent needs of customers; ultimately building a rounded banker of the future. This will be achieved by rotating them across a selection of businesses and corporate functions”. They will be part of an 18-month program that will allow them to go through a formal orientation in our core functions i.e., branch network and operations and thereafter rotate within the select functions in which they will only be confirmed into permanent terms upon successful completion of the Program.

Requirements
• The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with at least a Second-class upper honours; and must have completed their qualification within the last two years or is scheduled to complete on or before 30 September 2023.
• Qualification in the following disciplines: Financial Economics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering & Cloud Computing/related disciplines
• Candidates with certifications in Agile, Artificial Intelligence, Software Development are similarly required
• Scored an A- (A minus) in mean grade, Maths and English in KCSE or equivalent
• Should be 26 years and below
• All applicants are required to complete the Absa ReadytoWork program
