Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Fiber and Wireless Technician to join our team. With a focus on applying best practices, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving implementation and operations excellence.
Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring fiber optic cables and equipment for high-speed data transmission.
- Setting up and maintaining wireless networks, including Wi-Fi routers and access points.
- Testing and troubleshooting network connections to ensure optimal performance.
- Conducting regular maintenance and upgrades to keep systems running smoothly.
- Collaborating with engineers to design and implement network solutions.
- Responding to service outages and resolving technical issues promptly.
- Following safety protocols and industry standards to ensure reliable and secure connections.
Qualifications
- Minimum diploma in Electronics, telecommunications or related field.
- Three (3) years working experience in a network maintenance role.
- Technical aptitude in Electronic and Telecommunication infrastructure.
- Good analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skill.
