We want to make our guests’ experiences truly memorable from the very first moment they set foot in one of our hotels, feeling safe and secure at all times. We’re looking for a CCTV Controller who will utilize our surveillance equipment and systems in pursuit of a complete safe and secure Hotel environment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating and maintaining surveillance equipment and systems.
- Reporting to Security Manager any suspicious incidents or behavior’s for prompt actioning.
- Operating and monitoring all surveillance security systems/cameras within the Hotel in an efficient manner and in compliance with the Hotel operating procedures.
- Record all events, incidents and actions taken as per the stipulated reporting format. Secure all evidential records and witness statements to a standard acceptable to the rules of evidence for future reference.
- Maintain a secure system for providing data and security of the control room and ensure equipment is maintained at all times and to report equipment failure to the Security Manager immediately.
- Liaising with the other security colleagues and members of staff to ensure the appropriate use of the CCTV system.
- Providing efficient and courteous radio and telephone answering service and deal efficiently with all enquiries.
- Ensures all allegations of crime, theft by servant and other incidents are promptly investigated and relevant information given.
- Protect and carry out asset protection and loss prevention measures.
- Project a professional, confident, efficient and reassuring image to hotel guests, visitors and staff.
- Detect and report immediately any threats directed to the hotel and any suspicious activities and movements of the other associates to Security Manager and or other relevant hotel authorities.
- Provide thorough and up to date knowledge of security, safety and fire prevention as directed by security manager/supervisor.
- Provide, perform, and ensure safety measures and procedures are enforced and followed.
- Report immediately any infringements of security and safety to the next available superior.
- Undergo security and safety trainings.
- Respond to all enquires as per hotel requirements.
- Safe guard all information related to the hotel and Security.
- Maintain harmonious and professional working relationship with other hotel employees.
What we need from you
- Diploma/Certificate in Security Management.
- Ability to identify small, apparently unnoticeable details that most people would ordinarily overlook.
- Ability to work independently and to multitask
- CCTV Controllers certification and computer experience needed.
- Private / commercial 4 to 5 Years security experience to a similar role / background.
- Language English (Spoken and written fluent).
- Two to three years’ experience preferably in hospitality industry.
- Must have sound judgement capability.
- Must be physically fit.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and can multitask
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Flexible attitude to shifts – you may be required to work nights, weekends and/or holidays
