In line with this, Fòs Feminista is seeking 2-3 communications consultants based in, or with deep experience in India, Nigeria, and Kenya to work with us and our partners. Partners have identified targets for the communication campaign, however consults are needed to develop digital outreach and engagement strategy for partners’ implementation, providing strategic advice on community building and message development, develop and report on Key Performance Indicators, and accompany partners through 2023 as an advisor on implementation of the strategy.

Responsibilities
- Work with partners to develop community building guidelines and create messages for the project countries based on existing analysis;
- Develop a strategy and timeframe for partners that they can use for developing campaigns and materials;
- Advise on communication tactics;
- Develop and report on a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) plan for measuring and reporting results based on established goals;
- Identify possible channels for dissemination with partners;
- Provide relevant inputs to Fós Feminista and partners for the creation of knowledge products, such as communications toolkits, materials, etc.;
- Meet with partners throughout the remainder of 2023 after submission of the strategy to support partners in implementation.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills Requirements
- Experience in campaign, online community building and message development on SRHRJ issues; communications work related to anti-rights networks is desirable;
- Familiarity with project countries’ contexts relating to women’s and LGBTQI+ rights, sexual and reproductive health and rights, social justice, HIV and AIDS, non-discrimination, and human rights.
- Fluency in English, proficiency in spoken languages of India, Kenya, and Nigeria is desirable.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills and ability to write analysis and reports for a general audience.
Timeline: September-December 2023
Location: The location of this position is remote, however, preference will be given to applicants based in the project countries.
Compensation: Approximately USD$2,900 per consultancy (one per country).
