Full job description

The technician will be providing remote technical support to our customers for a print management software called PaperCut. PaperCut tracks and controls printing. The technician’s duties will include:

· Providing support to end users via telephone and/or remote session

· Providing timely and rapid responses to Service Request tickets

· Developing and maintaining system documentation and procedures

· Completing and providing status reports

· Remaining current in certifications and technologies related to the position

· Performing other duties as assigned

Required Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field and one (1) year of work experience OR

· Associates degree in an appropriate field and two (2) years of work experience OR

· High School degree in an appropriate field and four (4) years of work experience

· All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution

· Experience with Windows Server OS

· Excellent customer service skills

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and work well under limited time constraints Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

· Proficiency in organizational skills

· Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment

Desired Skills

· Knowledge of Print Management solutions (PaperCut, Equitrac, Pharos, PCounter, etc)

· Knowledge in configuring and operating Multifunction Devices (MFD)

· Knowledge of Mac OS and Linux OS

· Knowledge of Windows Print Server configuration

· Knowledge of TCP/IP and issues related to TCP/IP connectivity

· Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, and Organizational Units

· Knowledge of Network and System Administration

· Knowledge of virtualization technologies

· Microsoft and/or CompTIA Certifications

· Able to communicate in Spanish fluently (verbal and written)’

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
