About this role:
We are looking for aLogistics Supervisor to join our team in Dubai, UAE. This jobvacancy is open to those already based in the UAE. The Logistics Supervisorwill report to the Area Manager for Middle East.
What you will do:
- Supervise and provide support to Logistic coordinator/s and ensure smooth function of the Logistics division
- Supervision and quality check on data input relevant to logistics and advise/monitor/correct others when required
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of OTL and Client document requirements, and report the required information to the appropriate personnel within the Company as necessary
- Registration of goods to/from the OTL warehouse and workshop in ERP system
- Create Customer Orders, delivery and return tickets for all equipment movements to and from Customer, Rig site, etc.Timely registration of Goods Receipt (GR)Ensure equipment is delivered according to internal and external requirements, policies and procedures
- Liaise with internal and external designated personnel for movement of equipment or services
- Liaise with third party rental companies
- Liaise with third party service providers such as inspection and repair for maintenance of equipment
- Organize external transport for movement of equipment and goods
- Ensure all documents and third party inspection reports, COC’S etc, are saved in the appropriate system/location for traceability
- Manage the Client’s portal where required for submission of job related documentation such as invoices and supporting documents etc.
- Ensure that all material packages have the correct certification and all documentations is recorded
What you will need to succeed:
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Must have an extensive knowledge of software systems used in material movements
- Must be computer literate and competent in all standard Microsoft applications
- Previous experience in and Oil and Gas related environment is beneficial
- Must have a degree of understanding with billing and accounts
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage a team
