The Meliore Foundation is seeking for a talented digital all-rounder with professional experience in digital communications to help us and our partners reach key audiences with relevant information in a timely way. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who wants to use their digital skills to contribute to tackling one of the defining issues of our time within an impact-driven, skilled and fun global team.
As Junior Associate, Digital Communications, you would be part of the Strategic Communications team and report to the Digital Campaign Strategy Lead.
How you’ll contribute
- Helping colleagues from the digital team to design, implement and report on digital campaigns:
- Posting content on a variety of social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
- Setting up ads on social media platforms (especially Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter) and search engines (especially Google).
- Contributing to developing strategies for small to medium scale digital campaigns.
- Writing copy for graphics, videos and websites, and producing graphics and video content using tools such as Canva and Lumen5.
- Helping to organise and maintain large-scale A/B testing programmes, and using digital metrics to assess which content is performing best in any given campaign or A/B test.
- Producing campaign reports.
- Completing research tasks (such as social listening analysis, and looking into new tools to help our work)
- Administrative tasks (such as agenda setting, note taking, maintaining libraries and databases, account management for different tools).
Our ideal candidate has
- Demonstrated professional experience in digital marketing or digital campaigning.
- Experience running social media campaigns and channels on behalf of an organisation.
- A familiarity with digital metrics and how to judge whether a campaign or piece of content has been successful or not.
- An eye for design, and familiarity with content creation tools like Canva.
- The passion and creativity required to experiment constantly.
- Great English language skills, both written and verbal.
- A genuine interest in and passion for addressing climate change.
- The disposition to work generously with colleagues in a high-trust global community of peers.
- The versatile and adaptable skills necessary to flourish in a fast-paced and wide-ranging work environment and work across time zones using tools such as Zoom, Slack and email (Google Workspace).
