As a Trade Development Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Relationship Management – merchant onboarding, retailer recruitment and retention
  • Proactively drive Care to achieve NPS-1 in the market
  • Ensuring market penetration on all our offerings
  • Accelerate sale of Fiber and fixed wireless access solutions
  • MPESA float availability
  • Airtime distribution
  • Top of mind consumer awareness
  • Outlet visibility through several below the line initiatives
  • Aftersales engagement and solutions to customer issues within SLA
  • Win competition
  • Drive digital agenda and penetration to the market
  • Drive sales performance for hardware and Software products.
  • Increase usage and awareness for our products/promotion
  • Lead to trials & uptake of the product/promotion
  • Increase awareness, trial and usage of Safaricom offerings
  • Grow acceptance of Safaricom products and services
  • Grow brand affinity and consideration through direct customer engagement
  • Drive consumer education on product/services and promotional campaigns
  • Develop and execute highly creative Trade Development strategies

REQUIREMENTS

What are we looking for?

To qualify for this role, you should have:

  • Degree in any field 
  • Proficiency in written & spoken English and Swahili
  • Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
  •  One (1) Year experience in sales & distribution role preferably FMCG, Telecom & allied industry
