Duties and Responsibilities
- This will be the entry and training grade for Diploma holders. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a Senior Officer.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Replacing worn out archival boxes;
- Listing and numbering records;
- Boxing, labeling and numbering archival boxes
- Shelving and shelf numbering;
- Retrieving and recording the requested document;
- Ensuring materials are returned, re-boxed and re-shelved to the repository appropriately;
- Listing records identified for conservation, repair and restoration;
- Returning repaired documents to respective areas; and
- Distributing publicity materials.
Requirements for appointment
- For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Diploma in Records and Archives Management from a recognized institution:
