Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential clients, emerging trends, and market demands.
- Evaluate competitors’ products and strategies to develop a competitive edge and unique value proposition.
- Identify and prioritize potential business opportunities for expansion and growth.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to understand their technical requirements, challenges, and opportunities, while coordinating with the headquarters team in Taiwan.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and tailor technical solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations to clients on dye and textile-related technical matters.
New Business Development:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand the company’s client base and market presence.
- Identify and engage potential clients, partners, and distributors through targeted outreach and networking.
- Present technical solutions and value propositions to potential clients, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
Technical Expertise:
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of dye and textile industry technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients, assisting them in selecting the right products and solutions that meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with the company’s technical teams to ensure a deep understanding of product capabilities and limitations.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and operations to align business strategies and technical capabilities.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear, understandable terms.
- Collaborate with the HQ team to ensure business activities align with growth targets and company strategies
Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Lead negotiations with potential clients to secure partnerships, contracts, and agreements that align with the company’s goals and terms.
- Ensure that contractual agreements are well-defined, including technical specifications, timelines, and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven track record in technical business development within the dye and textile industry.
- Strong understanding of dyeing processes, textile manufacturing, and related technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and closing new business deals.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills for market analysis and opportunity identification.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and within a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
