Roles and Responsibilities.
- Recording and maintaining the accounting transactions.
- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis
- Raising of invoices and following up on payments
- File statutory returns on timely manner as per the norms of KRA (VAT, Withholding tax, PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, Housing Levy)
- Petty cash management
- Research and reconcile discrepancies
- payroll management
- Auditing and verifying documents
- Debtors and creditors reconciliation
- Budget management
- Preparation of P&L, monthly and weekly debtors and creditors reports
- Any other duty as maybe assigned from time to time.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree/Diploma in a business-related field,Accounting
- Should Have 3 years of experience (covering roles stipulated above)
- Must be proficient with Tally ERP system
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office
- Ability to interpret financial information
- Great written and oral communication skills
