Job Purpose:

To accurately maintain a general ledger and ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

1. Managing billing for all Persea’s projects including allocating all monthly costs to the respective projects;
2. Compiling all supporting documentation for all customer invoices;
3. Ensuring all invoices are sent out on time to the respective customers;
4. Liase with customs agents to ensure all duties and other Import/Export charges are paid on time;
5. Ensuring all Supplier Payments are done on a timely basis;
6. Preparation of Weekly, Monthly and Annual Budgets;
7. Support internal and external audit functions by ensuring all necessary documentation is ready;
8. Ensuring all procurement procedures are complied  with;
9. Ensure reliability of accounting and tax information by implementing appropriate procedures, checks and performance indicators;
10. Ensure familiarity with accounting and tax regulations;
11.  preparation of the company’s tax returns and other periodic statutory deductions;
12. Ensure adherence to all company internal controls, financial policies and procedures;
13. Oversee the maintenance of a proper and functional data registry and filing system;
14. Conduct and supervise monthly inventory stock takes and maintaining reconciliation schedules;
15. Daily reconciliation of cash for field activities and ensure all field teams have sufficient imperest;
16. Ensuring/Facilitating timely closure of all accounting module.
17. Performing Creditors, Debtors and Bank Reconciliation.
18. Ensure cost minimization on all functions in the company

Qualification & Requirements.

1. Bachelor in Commerce or Bachelor in Business Management from a recognized university.
2. Must be a C.P.A-K Graduate.
3. 3-4 years’ Experience in a Manufacturing Industry.
4. Knowledge in Tally & QuickBooks accounting software will be an added advantage.
