Yoli is a comprehensive HR consultancy that is specialized in HR advisory services and recruitment. Our client in the Manufacturing Industry is looking to recruit a qualified candidate to fill the position of Sales Representative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a personalized customer experience by selling our products and responding to the needs of customers, driving product volumes, managing customer relationships, documenting and reporting on customer feedback in order to improve the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue by meeting weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships to ensure customer retention
- Ensure profitable growth in sales, revenue through planning and execution
- Upsell and cross sell across the portfolio of company products
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales activities undertaken for management review
- Maintain clients database with key information such as sales, inquiries and contacts
- Stay up to date on industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth
- In-depth product knowledge to optimise sales and customer support
- Gather current marketplace information on newly introduced products, delivery schedules, pricing, and merchandising techniques in order to monitor competition
- Attend industry trade events to acquire new leads and enhance relationships with existing clients
- Gather feedback from customers and give solutions for areas of improvement
- Key account Management to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Any other duties assigned from time to time
Key skills and competencies
- Certificate or Diploma in related field
- 1-3 years of field sales experience in the manufacturing industry
- Outstanding relationship management skills combined with an aptitude for developing new and long standing relationships
- Independent self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver within tight deadlines
- Ability to build in-depth knowledge on products and markets
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills
- Exceptional selling and negotiation skills
- High level of integrity and commitment
