Investment Executive Job Description
Job Brief:
- Contacting decision makers of high-profile companies/or individuals and setting up meetings.
- Assessing a client’s risk profile and providing strategic advice across a variety of financial products and services
- Assessing client’s overall financial picture, understanding their needs, and developing their ideal portfolio
- Cultivate client base and build win-win relationships
- Managing client portfolios and maintaining a strong relationship
Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting for New Business/Business Development:
- Initial phone prospecting for new business (cold calling)
- Prospecting through existing social and business networks
- Network, generate leads and grab opportunities to sell and meet sales quotas
- Preparation of lists of prospective/target clients & maintenance of target lists
- Keep abreast of new industry’s trends and research markets to back up financial consulting
2. Client Visitation, Presentation & Sales:
- Sales presentations/pitches of financial products to corporate and HNWI prospects
- Distribution of up-to-date marketing materials to existing clients and prospects
- Daily in-office and out of office meetings with prospects and clients
- Assisting clients on filling out account opening documentation accurately
- Facilitation of client funds transfers
- Facilitation of documentation associated with placement of funds
3. Client Maintenance & Knowledge:
- Servicing of existing clients monthly
- Maintenance of current product knowledge (both in the local & overseas markets), including, but not limited to product knowledge of, Fixed Income, Securities, Offshore Investments, Unit Trusts & Pension Products
- Oversee the course of the portfolio and update it, if necessary, after quarterly client meetings
- Comply with all current industry rules and regulations.

• Ability to analyse market’s financial data and to provide appropriate data-based advice
• Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
