Reporting to the Conservancy Manager and with a close working relationship with the NRT finance Department team, the Conservancy Accountant will be responsible for: –
- Coordination of the day-to-day activities of the finance department,
- Leading and guiding the reporting process,
- Ensuring compliance with the conservancy financial policy as well as statutory financial requirements
- Ensuring prudent management of donor funds.
- Ensuring conservancy operations are running smoothly and effectively.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting / Finance or any other related field.
- At least a CPA Part II qualification.
- Registration with ICPACK will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of three years relevant post qualification work experience.
- Hands-on knowledge and experience in computerized accounting preferably sage and quick books.
- Good financial management skills.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Good report writing skills.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
