We are seeking B2C Account Executives that will follow up with prospects who reach out to us on various channels, explain the unique value we offer, schedule them for the services, and ensure they have a great experience.
At Angled North, our sales process is unique. This is not a sell-at-any-cost environment. Your role is to guide the client through thoughtful questioning to find the right path for them. While we usually are the most suitable partner, we sometimes aren’t, so we do not ‘force’ the sale. Secondly, we don’t prospect. Clients reach out to us seeking more information – which is where you come in.
You will be provided with training, sales scripts, and more to help you succeed. On-target earnings for this position range from Kshs. 160,000 – Kshs. 200,000 per month (Monthly Salary + commissions). You can make more as commissions are uncapped. This is a hybrid position. The position develops into an Account Manager/Channel Manager position.
Responsibilities:
- Carefully learn the consultative selling process and articulate the services offered and sales terms
- Follow up with prospects and answer any questions they have
- Ensure customer contacts are updated in the CRM
- Collaborate with the business development and client service team to uncover ways to support our clients better and reach more prospects
- Report and interpret sales numbers and marketing metrics regularly.
- Follow and report on customer, business and competitor trends.
- Participate in business improvement exercises e.g. developing sales material, event planning and more.
- Work with other members of the sales team to achieve great results
Requirements and skills
- No industry experience is required.
- Highly organized and analytical
- Preferred experience in sales, especially service/consulting sales.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis software like MS Excel, SPSS or SAS
- Familiarity with CRM programs and scheduling software e.g. Calendly and Zoho
- Experience in a busy sales environment is a plus
- Experience with consultative selling is a plus
- Experience in digital marketing/event planning is a plus
- BS/BA degree in a business-related field
