Karen Country Club, the leading Members Club in East Africa and Central Africa, is seeking to fill the position of Bowling Attendant.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will ensure maintenance of the bowling greens, offer support, and arrange for logistical requirements during regular games and tournaments.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Coaching and training while ensuring member service satisfaction.
· Marketing of bowling and croquet events.
· Represent the club both locally and internationally.
· Maintenance and cleaning of pinsetters and auto-scoring equipment.
· Cleaning bowling lanes, gutters, and ball return areas.
· Green maintenance through irrigation, weeding, repairs and changing of rinks.
· Following and enforcing guidelines on health and safety.
Required Qualifications and Experience
· Artisan certification / diploma in any trade.
· A minimum of 2 years experience in bowling arena.
· A member of Kenya Bowling Federation.
· Experience in Greenkeeping.
Personal attributes & Functional Skills
· Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
· Customer service skills experience.
· First Aid & CPR administration.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
· Physical fitness.
