As a Marketing Intern at Aqua Clara Kenya, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in marketing, advertising, and communications while working closely with professionals in the field. You will work closely with the marketing team in various tasks and projects to help promote the organization’s products, services, and brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Market Research: Assist in collecting and analyzing data on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities for the organization.
  • Content Creation: Support the creation and development of marketing content, including blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, and website copy.
  • Social Media Management: Assist in managing social media accounts by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments or inquiries.
  • Campaign Support: Aid in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns across various channels, such as email marketing, digital advertising, and events.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Help track, measure, and analyze marketing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives, and prepare reports for the marketing team.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and coordinating marketing events, such as trade shows, conferences, or promotional activities, including logistics, materials preparation, and onsite support.
  • Collaborative Projects: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, design, and product development, to support integrated marketing initiatives and ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing channels.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and concepts.
  • Proficiency in using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and contribute to marketing initiatives.
  • Experience in handling social media campaigns will be an added advantage.
