KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Policy analysis
- Analyzing the trade disputes letters received from the ministry of labour
- Conducting Research to inform FKE policy positions on Social, Economic, Labour & Employment matters.
- Bills tracking at all levels of government.
- Preparation of executive briefs on Social, Economic, Labour & Employment matters
- Tracking outcomes of policy proposals by FKE
- Implementation of the FKE advocacy agenda
- Performing any other relevant duties as requested
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, Public Policy or related field.
- Attachment experience in a busy work environment in economic, social or employment research
- Passion and interest in conducting Economic research.
- Expert level knowhow in use of statistical software (s)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point
