Job Purpose

As an operation Intern, your role will involve close collaboration with the country coordinator to ensure efficient and timely operations. You will play a crucial part in, tracking inventory, procurement processes, and various administrative tasks. Additionally, you will support the sales team in the field ensuring they submit necessary reports promptly.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

  • Inventory and logistics:
  • Assist with product inventory management, and optimization of storage within warehouses, offices, and other logistics sites to optimize efficient inventory movement.
  • Procurement:
  • Assist in procurement processes, sourcing quotes, and contacting vendors and suppliers.
  • Resolve issues with suppliers, customer transportation companies, or employees as applicable.
  • Field Operations Support:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate the timely submission of essential reports and address their requirements by promptly replenishing or escalating and dispatching necessary items to enhance their effectiveness in the field.
  • Admin tasks:
  • Provide assistance in updating spreadsheets and Trackers ensuring accurate and up-to-date information management.
  • Support in record-keeping activities to maintain organized and efficient documentation.
  • Contribute to event planning tasks ensuring smooth and successful event execution.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum academic qualification is a university undergraduate Degree in a business-related field with a specialization in Operation, Supply-Chain Management, or a similar related course. An administration course is an added advantage. (Final year students will be considered).

Experience

  • 0 – 1 year experience in Operations and/or Supply-Chain Management.
  • MS Office Proficiency.
  • Team Player.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

Comfortable working with Excel.
