JOB PROFILE
Responsibilities
- Processing the payroll and reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Preparing profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet for the directors.
- Preparing monthly forecasts & annual budgets prepares all allocations
- Ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and Redberry procedures.
- Processing financial entries, documents, and reports.
- Reviewing accounts payables and Receivables
- Bank and petty cash reconciliation.
- Preparing financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret the current and projected company financial position.
- Analyzing transactional processes and identifying areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved.
- Applying cost accounting methods to achieve an accurate representation of cost center performance.
- Responsible for all taxes obligations.
- Any other duties allocated to him/her.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in B. Com, Financial Management, and Accounting Degree.
- 3 years experience as an Accountant in a FMCG company.
- CPA-K
- Familiar with the relevant software programs
- Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to deliver under strict deadlines and handle pressure effectively.
Salary
- Ksh 40,000 Net
