Sinapis is looking for an eager, mission-aligned, and detail-oriented young professional who excels at building and maintaining relationships and enjoys making phone calls. This individual will provide support to the Sinapis Sales & Alumni Teams by following up with both sales leads (pre-transaction) and program alumni (post-transaction). This position will work closely with other Sales and Alumni staff to live out our core value of being the most relational entrepreneur support organization in the world.

Compensation: KES 100,000 total paid as KES 25,000/month
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support in responding promptly to customer enquiries received through the HubSpot Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Sinapis social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn), and formal office communication platforms (office phone and email)
- Attend select Sinapis events to respond to inquiries and receive contacts from potential sales leads
- Assist with the entrepreneur application process by communicating with applicants and facilitating face-to-face follow up meetings where required
- Use relational communication skills to control a call, listen and target the objective of the lead or alumnus/alumnae, noting key requests, needs, and story
- Provide clear, accurate, timely and professional communications to alumni in a courteous manner whenever required
- Ensure data accuracy by following verification procedures and guidelines given
- Read, comprehend, and follow formatting procedures for data entry or post training offerings, especially for stories captured, engagement details, and alumni directory details
- Identify when an alumni is displeased and escalate the issue by offering a reference or request if permission is granted for escalation
- Record and report on conversations with alumni with details of inquiries or concerns
- On rotation with other interns, serve as the office coordinator by warmly greeting and directing guests as they enter the space

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate or higher degree in business administration or a related field
- Relevant experience in a program administration role that shows your ability to manage relationships and processes effectively; experience with the entrepreneurial ecosystem is a plus
- Additional experience handling CRM systems such as Salesforce and Hubspot is a plus
- A heart for our mission and a passion for alleviating poverty through private sector development
- Solid understanding and appreciation of people-centric administrative processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
