Required Experience

• An undergraduate bachelor’s degree in statistics/agriculture economics/agribusiness or a closely related course from a recognized institution.
• Competency in basic statistical analysis.

Scope of work

• Field data cleaning and preparation for entry
• Ensuring good record keeping including data collection for all sites across the wards, and reporting on this monthly to the supervisor
• Data collection and recording based on crop stages (Maize/Potato)
• Assisting and participating in site monitoring of all sites intermittently and providing feedback.
• Regular communication with the ward agricultural officers and county staff on-site management through phone calls.
• Capturing field activities through photos and providing updates on WhatsApp
• Any other activities that may be deemed necessary by your supervisor.

Required Skills

• Should be willing & able to work in Bungoma County.
• Should be able to speak in the local dialect of the area.
• Quick learner and excellent social skills.
• Good writing skills.
• Ability to work well with county officials.
• Good communication skills.

Required Experience
