Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the above vacant position within our Supply Chain Function:
Requirements:
i. At least a degree in Industrial Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry or its equivalent.
ii. A minimum of 12 years’ work experience with at least 5 years in a similar role.
iii. Excellent understanding of Quality Management System & AQL.
iv. Interpersonal & demonstrated people skills.
v. High levels of pro-activeness and problem solving skills.
vi. High Levels of Integrity and Confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that all quality standards for all products are met at all times.
2. Develop, implement and manage processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function and reliability prior to delivery as finished products.
3. Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
4. Coordinate and participate in product testing processes.
5. Identify and analyze products’ issues, defects and other problems particularly when there is recurrence. Recommend and facilitate solutions to these issues.
6. Ensure customer quality requirements and expectations are communicated to and upheld by the quality control team and suppliers.
7. Work in liaison with the Customer Relations/Social Media teams in Marketing to keep track of quality concerns and follow up for appropriate redressal.
