BIMAS Kenya, a Microfinance Institution in Kenya seek to recruit capable and result-oriented individuals to fill the following position of ICT INTERN

Reporting To: ICT Manager
Job Term: 3 Months
Department: ICT Department

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering (or a related IT Field or equivalent professional experience)

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. · Set up, configuration and maintenance of computers, mobiles, hardware, systems and applications
  2. · Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  3. · Development and maintenance of software applications
  4. · Resolving IT support requests from clients and employees
  5. · Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems
  6. · Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed
  7. · Logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed
  8. · Installation and maintenance of computer networks (WAN and LAN)
  9. · Ensure availability of computer systems and infrastructure
  10. · End user support
  11. · Any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor
