BIMAS Kenya, a Microfinance Institution in Kenya seek to recruit capable and result-oriented individuals to fill the following position of ICT INTERN
Reporting To: ICT Manager
Job Term: 3 Months
Department: ICT Department
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering (or a related IT Field or equivalent professional experience)
Duties and Responsibilities
- · Set up, configuration and maintenance of computers, mobiles, hardware, systems and applications
- · Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- · Development and maintenance of software applications
- · Resolving IT support requests from clients and employees
- · Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems
- · Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed
- · Logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed
- · Installation and maintenance of computer networks (WAN and LAN)
- · Ensure availability of computer systems and infrastructure
- · End user support
- · Any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor
