Role Brief:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to help manage supply chain operations and ensure efficient and cost-effective distribution of goods. The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation
  • Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
  • Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, etc.
  • Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures
  • Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders
  • Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of goods
  • Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues
  • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and retailers
  • Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity
  • Answering customer queries

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics or a similar role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Good management and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
