Laundry Customer Service Representative.

Department: Operations
Reports To: Team Leader – Customer Service and Shops Operations

Duties: 

We are looking for an organized, disciplined and self-motivated customer experience staff who believes in timeliness and delivering customer excellence. The successful applicant will perform the below duties among others;

  • Receive laundry and dry-cleaning bags from walk in customers and ensure that the items are booked into the system based on type, description and pricing.
  • Count and verify all items collected as per laundry price lists  signed and note down any discrepancy or damages on the received laundry in the workshop laundry transfer sheet.
  • Report immediately to the superiors in case any valuable items like cash, jewellery, credit cards etc. found in customers cloth pockets.
  • Receive payments in electronic form, and as well recognize the payments in the laundry system.
  • Upsell the company services, while delivering the set targets per branch, while ensuring a given customer retention rate of above 70%.
  • Among other duties.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualification: Certificate or Diploma in Housekeeping, Laundry or Customer Service
  • Proven customer service experience required.
  • Good communication skills with ability to retain clients.
  • Able to work under minimum supervision and meet set required targets.
  • Basic knowledge in laundry operations and handling a plus.
  • Computer literate.
  • Proven experience working in a laundry and dry cleaning firm is an added advantage.
  • Certificate of good conduct
  • Ability to communicate and use current technology to improve efficiencies
  • Between 24-35 years
