Location: Nairobi
Role Overview:
Planning, controlling and supervising the medical representatives. Meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organization’s presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning, controlling and supervising the medical representatives.
2. Meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organization’s presence in the market.
3. Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team.
4. Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort), realistic costs of operating the sales force; and sales promotion program plans.
5. Assess clients’ needs and present suitable promoted products.
6. Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions and symposium circuits
7. Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message.
8. Build positive trust relationships with medical representatives to influence targeted group in the decision making process
9. Monitor and analyse data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage
10. Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback
Academic Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science / Bio Chemistry / Laboratory Medicine/ Pharamacy
2. Experience working as a medical representative for at least 3 years and in a leadership role for 3 years

Compensation: Ksh150,000/- plus commissions and other benefits
