What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who van own and drive a high-performance, learner-centric higher education placement operations backed by a strong data and analytics infrastructure.
What does the job involve
- Hire, manage and train a team of program counsellors in Kenya to empower them to achieve their enrollment targets. The current team is comprised of 17 counsellors, one assistant team lead and one team lead
- Build a high performance culture where employees demonstrate ownership of and are sufficiently incentivized to meet their targets
- Manage the allocation of leads to admissions counsellors, ensuring that all leads (i.e. prospective learners) are called within the stipulated timeframe and leads from top sources are prioritized. This will require closely monitoring the team’s capacity, as well as the number of leads being generated in the CRM on a daily basis
- Analyze data and interact directly with learners to identify challenges in the conversion funnel and implement and track creative new initiatives to address these challenges
- Ensure 100% compliance on the CRM to ensure we have the data required to make the best decisions
- Create processes to systematically and regularly share feedback from the admissions team (i.e. learner calls) with various departments:
- Product – challenges and opportunities to improve our online marketplace and application system based on learner feedback
- University team – feedback on universities in demand who we havee not yet partnered with, escalations where learners are awaiting offer letters from universities but have not received responses, and opportunities for learners to speak with university representatives to improve conversion rate
- High school team – feedback on the quality of learners coming from partnered high schools and interventions that can be made at an earlier stage to improve likelihood of these learners to convert into enrollments
- Digital marketing team – frequent, weekly feedback on the quantity and quality of leads from campaigns
