BulkBox is a supply chain start up providing businesses with a single source supply chain solution. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Professional to join our team.
Role
As a Business Development Professional, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers and driving revenue. Your primary focus will be on building relationships, closing deals, and expanding our customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify potential leads within the hospitality and convenience segment.
- Utilize existing industry knowledge and relationships to establish rapport and secure new business opportunities.
- Conduct business development activities, including field sales, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking, to generate leads and close deals.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas on a consistent basis.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of BulkBox’s product offerings, value proposition, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new clients.
- Provide accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales and/or customer acquisition with a proven track record of success in outbound sales, preferably within the hospitality and/or retail sectors.
- Ability to efficiently manage the entire sales process independently, from lead qualification to deal closure, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills
- Existing relationships with potential leads in the target industry is a strong advantage
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment
- Familiarity with supply chain management or wholesale industry is a plus
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
