Fast Choice Limited is a leader in manufacturing and supply of office furniture and equipment
over the last 20 years, with over 70 employees. We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to create designs for the manufacture brand and bespoke items of domestic, commercial and industrial furniture.
Qualifications:
•Degree in interior design or related field with a specialization in furniture
•3 years professional experience in furniture design
•Proficient in Auto CAD, Archi CAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software
•Experience with woodworking, metalworking, and other fabrication techniques
•Experience in costing for furniture and advising the business appropriately
•MUST have experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
•Technical drawing skills to create accurate and detailed drawings of furniture designs.
•Able to work with engineers to ensure the furniture is structurally sound; with the marketing team to ensure the furniture is appealing to our customers and with the sales team for accurate measurements
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
•Quick decision making, problem solving and negotiation skills
•Speed of Execution, Self driven and Confident
