As a Skin Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing expert skin care consultations, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing online orders and deliveries, maintaining stock inventory, conducting sales transactions, recommending products, assisting walk-in clients, and performing various administrative tasks. 

Job Responsibilities

  1. Customer Engagement and Feedback: Engage with customers during and after consultations to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or queries they may have.
  2. Order Management and Deliveries: Check online orders, verify payment details to ensure timely and accurate order processing and deliveries.
  3. Client Follow-Up: Follow up with previous clients to maintain relationships, address any additional concerns, and provide recommendations for on-going skincare routines.
  4. Stock Management: Receive new stock and accurately input it into the inventory system, Conduct regular stock takes to ensure accurate stock levels and update reorder levels as necessary & Monitor inventory for expired or damaged products and take appropriate action.
  5. Sales Transactions: Recommend suitable skincare products based on customers’ needs, skin analysis results, and budget & Conduct sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing payments and updating customer records.
  6. Walk-In Client Assistance: Provide excellent customer service to walk-in clients, assist them with inquiries, guide them through product selections, and offer personalized recommendations.
  7. Client Calls and Consultation Scheduling: Make client calls to confirm appointments, reschedule consultations if needed, and address any client inquiries or concerns.
  8. Product Display Organization: Organize and maintain visually appealing product displays to attract and engage customers, ensuring products are properly showcased and easily accessible.
  9. Skin Analysis Consultations: Plan and conduct comprehensive skin analysis consultations to assess customers’ skin conditions, concerns, and goals.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail sales or skincare environment.

Diploma in Pharmacy will be an Advantage.

Technical Skills/Leadership Competencies

  1. Proven experience as a Skincare Specialist or similar role, preferably in a retail sales or skincare environment.
  2. In-depth knowledge of skincare analysis techniques, products, ingredients, and treatments.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and provide personalized recommendations.
  4. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage consultations, online orders, walk-in clients, and administrative tasks efficiently.
  5. Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant software applications.
  6. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stock management, order processing, and administrative tasks.
  7. Familiarity with skincare content creation and social media platforms is a plus.
  8. Ability to make and return client calls promptly, providing excellent customer service and building strong client relationships.
  9. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally, and adapt to changing priorities
