Job Purpose:
The accounts assistant is responsible for bookkeeping and provides administrative support to the other departments for supplier and statutory payments. Their duties include performing data entry, managing records, organizing reports and key reconciliations – bank and suppliers.
Duties
Bookkeeping – data entry in accounting system
Petty Cash Management – ensuring payments are made according to company policy and with adequate documentation
Reconciliation of bank accounts
Reconciliation with suppliers
Reconciliation of statutory accounts
Management & filing of physical & softcopy documentation
Skills and Qualifications
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
Advanced Excel
Quickbooks Online/ Desktop certification (must have)
CPA 11
Degree in Finance/Accounting (preferred)
At least 3 years’ work experience
At least 2 years’ hospitality industry/ restaurant work experience
