Karen Country Club is a leading Country Club in Nairobi and is seeking to fill the position of Restaurant Coordinator.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating events, training new staff in the department, recording feedback reports from members and suppliers.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Planning & Administration – Planning, coordinating, and managing different restaurants operations and strategies.
· People Management – Ensure effective orientation and training of new staff , maximizing staff output and efficiency, monitoring staff KPIs, coaching and initiating corrective actions on staff disciplinary matters.
· Member Experience – Ensure delivery of the defined Member Promise through consistent delivery of the service standards across all touch points as well as reenforcing a culture of resolving member issues within the shortest time possible and to the members satisfaction.
· Resource Mobilization & Management – Follow the operating budget, monitor costs and mitigate loss that might affect the bottom lines.
· Controls – Ensure food & beverage cost is within acceptable and approved rates, minimize wastage and enforce HACCP, ISO, and H & S procedures in the F&B Operations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
· Degree in Hospitality Management.
· Diploma in Food and Beverage Management.
· Minimum of 2 years in an F&B administrative role in a busy Food & Beverage Operation of a reputable image.
