Job Summary
Chiromo Hospital Group is looking to hire a Waiter to serve clients at our restaurant and serve the
inpatient clients of the hospital.
Duties
Set up serving stations for inpatient clients for all meals.
Clear utensils once the patients are done with their meals.
Answer guest questions in relation to the menu
• Tending to night requests from inpatient clients
• Preparing mise en place for breakfast for all hospital wards
• Ensuring the waiter’s station is clean
Ensure the kitchen is clean in conjunction with the chef on duty
Ensure all kitchenettes are cleared and no crockeries are left
Coordinate timely delivery of the ordered meals.
Do the set-up of the restaurant before and after service
Collect food and beverage requests from guests
Taking diet sheet from nurses and confirming if the patient is diabetic, low cholesterol, or nil
by mouth
Staying attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area during service time
Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for clients
Following proper plate, and presentation, when serving guests in the hospital wards
Managing multiple tasks and guest interactions while delivering a 5-star quality dining
experience.
Work hand in hand with the chef on duty to deliver quality service
Knowledge, experience and qualifications
“A” / “O” Level Education
Diploma in Food Service or related training
2 years experience in a busy restaurant/ kitchen.
Customer service skills
Good interpersonal skills
Planning and organizational skills
Team player.
