Capacity building, Liaison, and Networking
- Seek opportunities for information sharing and learning exchanges with local actors/INGOs to promote learning and coordination at national and sub-national levels.
- Support mapping learning and training opportunities for project and partner staff
- Support all capacity-building initiatives that are well coordinated with wider involvement of the program quality MEAL team.
- Support the CSDW project to develop and maintain a contact network of researchers, decision-makers, and partner organizations relevant to the project’s work on water quality management and WASH gender inclusion.
- Engage the Government and other development partners to influence policy that prioritizes.
- Mobilizing partnerships with local civil society organizations,
- Perform other responsibilities as may be directed by the Project Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completed bachelor’s degree in environmental health sciences/Public Health/community health and development.
- Knowledge of research ethics principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural professional environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Work experience is not a requirement.
- The research Ethics course will be an added advantage.
- Competencies: Good report-writing skills, data collection, and analysis, Computer Literacy
