- Own and manage Retail business in Kenya: P&L, Operations, Strategy and Team.
- Define the long term Retail strategy for Kenya
- Translate long term strategy into actionable tasks and ensure adherence to business plan
- Setup and scale operational processes and frameworks for category management, operations, and other functional areas in the market
- Be the owner of Business Unit P&L
- Manage and develop a high performing team
- Acquire and develop the business of the most relevant retail partners in the market
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team (marketing, operations, finance…) to achieve quick and flawless execution
- Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference
You Have
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail, e-commerce or FMCG.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with exposure to senior partners and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in defining solutions to complex, strategic topics with a deeply analytical and data-driven approach to issues
- Balance attention to detail with swift execution – we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
- Full proficiency in English is required
- Grittiness, never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and address something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away
- An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
